Release Notes: This release features the latest long term support (LTS) kernel, 2.6.32.28. It was updated to the latest pacman version (3.4.2). DHCP or Static IP (fallback) is now used during remote installation. Dual architecture ISO images were provided. Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) packages such as redmine, sonar, and hudson are now available. Ruby 1.8 is now available in testing. Arch Installation Framework (AIF) was updated. Installation over Serial Support was added.


Release Notes: Both "core" and "netinstall" ISO images are available via the mirrors. This installation image features the following packages: kernel26-lts-2.6.32.19, pacman-3.3.3, rsyslog-3.22.1, and vixie-cron-4.1-1. These are changes to the Arch Linux defaults. This release candidate is not yet considered suitable for production use, and is designed for testing only.
