Release Notes: This release fixes security issues. The issues relate to pypo permissions and monit permissions and are deemed critical. Upgrading is strongly recommended. Airtime 2.0.x versions support upgrading from version 1.8.0 and above. If you are running a production server with a version of Airtime prior to 1.8.0, you should upgrade it to version 1.8.0 before continuing. Before upgrading any production server, you should back up.

Release Notes: Airtime’s Calendar display speed is now twice as fast, the dashboard is twice as fast, and the Now Playing page is up to six times faster. In addition, it sorts out a couple of issues with the playout engine, works on improving the show recorder, and deals with a filename upgrade issue affecting those trying to upgrade from 1.8.2.

Release Notes: An infamous missing Australia and Arctic timezone bug was fixed (with apologies to the entire populations of both). Media Monitor behavior was improved: it no longer changes the owner of watched files, and an issue with 24 hour shows that failed to calculate total play-time and gave a false warning to users was fixed. A problem where the Current Playing item on the top panel sometimes incorrectly showed "Nothing Scheduled" was fixed. A problem where playback did not resume after changing stream settings was fixed.

Release Notes: Sourcefabric has improved calendars, playlists, SoundCloud integration, and the Media Monitor. You can now also have up to three streams with different bitrates, and point them to different Icecast/SHOUTcast servers. Any connection problems between Liquidsoap and Icecast are now shown in the interface. Users can now switch between ALSA, OSS, AO, Pulseaudio, and Portaudio, all via the user interface. Users can listen to streams directly from the Web interface without having to start a third party application (such as VLC). Protection against brute-force password guessing attacks was implemented.

Release Notes: This release improves Airtime’s Media Monitor, specifically the parsing of a file's metadata and the moving or renaming of ‘watch’ folders. It also addresses issues with parsing Unicode metadata in audio files, and a bug with older versions of python-virtualenv. The airtime-easy-install deb package will install everything needed for a working version of Airtime with a single click on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid or Debian 6.0 Squeeze through either the Ubuntu Software Center or the GDebi Package Installer.
